To put it simply, we are data nerds. We love to sort, filter, aggregate, analyse and tinker. LanternBid is our passion project, born out of our obsession with operationalizing machine learning. The adtech ecosystem captured our attention with its sheer scale and scope of data, but we were most compelled by its murky complexity.

As advertisers embark on their programmatic adventure, they need someone to cut through that darkness.

Damien is focused on positioning LanternBid as a reliable adtech platform that advertisers and publishers can trust. His extensive experience in the corporate business world and private equity strongly influences his guiding principles: transparency, risk awareness, and a relentless focus on value creation for all stakeholders. He envisions LanternBid as a new type of company, developed for the age of AI, where technology is embedded at every layer to achieve these goals. When he’s not shaping the future of adtech, Damien can be found on the golf course where, just as in business, success isn’t about a single miracle swing but about consistently positioning for the next great shot.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Charlie Fernando

Charlie blends a decade of software development experience with a genuine commitment to helping small, independent businesses thrive. His early fascination with artificial intelligence in university has evolved into a deep, intuitive passion for understanding how LanternBid’s technology can serve real world needs. Prompted by the marketing challenges of his favourite local restaurants, Charlie is now applying his instinctive problem solving ability to build an advertising platform tailored to SMBs. In his spare time, this code craftsman is an avid runner, delivering performance gains in and out of the office.
